Connie S. Haden joined Graves Bartle Marcus & Garrett LLC in 2007, bringing expertise in estate and business planning, taxation, probate administration and tax-exempt and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced with a large area firm specializing in complex estate, business, gift and tax planning issues including preparation of revocable trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, health care directives, irrevocable trusts, family limited partnerships, limited liability companies and many other sophisticated estate and business planning devices. Connie also advises clients in all aspects of estate and trust administration.
Connie is admitted to both the Missouri and Kansas Bar and is a member of the Kansas City Estate Planning Society and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2001 with degrees in Agriculture Business Management and Business Economics. During her time at Mizzou, Connie was a Sam Walton Business Scholar and was active with the Mortarboard Honor Society, the Homecoming Steering Committee, the Baptist Student Union and the Ag Week Steering Committee.
Ms. Haden received her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2004 where she graduated in the top in her class, served as Editor-in-Chief of the UMKC Law Review and was a member of the Christian Legal Society, the Federalist Society, the Student Bar Association and the Order of the Bench and Robe.
Connie participates in the community through service to her church and on various charitable boards. She lives in Kansas City with her husband and their two sons.Connie S. Haden
